More than just a music festival, Melbourne Music Week’s imaginative line-up spans music, film, art, design and hospitality. Produced and owned by City of Melbourne, MMW is an eight day program dedicated to illuminating the city’s robust, world-renowned music scene. MMW presents free and affordable shows; all of which reflect Melbourne’s multi-faceted, inimitable creative identity.
Stable Music presents an exploration of sound and light to lead your mind beyond an everyday reality towards the SIGNAL.
SIGNAL pushes the boundaries of modern electronica and questions what we understand of live performances. For SIGNAL’s return to MMW there will be a showcase of three live performances by artists who have never performed at MMW including Monolake, Echo Inspectors and Spilt Silo.
Monolake’s futuristic and highly rhythmic music sits on the boundary of contemporary club culture with strong textural and drone elements. This performance will keep the audience on the edge.
Former Royal Women’s Hospital is located at the corner of Grattan and Swanston streets, Carlton.
Matt Radovich, Safari & Kuya will beperforming in the bar area.
