Konstantin Kost is an Ukrainian musician from the city of Odessa, a lover of deep and heavy techno sound. In his music and dj-sets you can hear his mood and inner message.
Hi Konstantin! Great to have you on the podcast. How are things going?
Hi i’m fine, really happy to be on your podcast and on my favorite dub techno label.
For me this year has become very difficult, because in my country there is war, corruption, and complete lawlessness, well, despite these difficulties, I hold on and try to be inspired and create techno music in this atmosphere.
From what do you draw your inspirations for your own music?
Inspiration comes to me from my favorite historical city Odessa, where this city has a strong dynamics and color, I am also inspired by cooking, beautiful nature, and most importantly, this journey, which opens your mind and gives ideas for music.
Well, in addition, science and space inspire me, because for me dub techno music is more space.

Elektron Digitakt , Elektron Octatrack MK2 Black, Behringer TD-3-AM, Moog Sound Studio: Semi-Modular Bdl, Moog Subsequent 25, Moog Minimoog Model D 2022, Moog Prodigy.
On this equipment you can comfortably write music in any techno format and not only.
What was the key moment that got you into house and techno?
At the age of 18 I started DJing, but I have always been attracted to the sounds of techno. I believe my call was to what I am doing today, something that comes from your heart that you cannot control.
Please name 3 artists that inspire you and why?
Perhaps thanks to these musicians I make and create music, André Kronert, TM Shuffle, Insect O. I am inspired by what they write.
What is the idea behind your mix?
in this set I want to present my collaboration with some german guys from the amas project and also my favorite performers who are in this set
What can we expect next from you?
In the future you will see a vinyl release from me and in addition to it a video clip will be shot, as I am engaged in video clips and video editing along with music
